The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law “On amendments to article 197 of the Tax Code of Ukraine re VAT exemption of importing natural gas into the customs territory of Ukraine”

The Law renews the norm of the Tax Code, according to which, operations of importing natural gas into the customs territory of Ukraine are exempt from VAT in accordance with the code of Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity (UKT ZED) 2711 21 00 00.

Respective bill was registered under No. 3853-1.
